Volunteer Coordinators are experienced key contributors with fantastic people skills who handle Ocean Planet Explorers volunteer outreach and coordinate support roles and tasks.
Our team-building programs are built on a foundation of marine science and sailing. team-building Advisors develop customized programs in response to client specs and join the crew of the team-building sails.
Assist the executive director with the day-to-day business operations of running a small nonprofit.
Actively assist the organization without serving as an officer or board member. Make a quarterly assessment of the organization’s general health and vote on the election of board members. Although this position has a low time commitment, it is an integral part of the organization’s success.
As the leaders of the Marine Science Program, our shoreline and classroom educators develop and teach Sci Sail, Belly Biology and Mobile Science Lab — and join the crew of the educational sails.

Social Media Coordinators maintain an online presence by developing, editing, and posting content on Ocean Planet Explorers’ social platforms. Content may be contributed by staff members, volunteers, and participants.
